Companion Care for Elders
~ Is your loved one living alone, or in a care home?
~ Could they use a friend to visit regularly, to provide companionship and company?
I’ve been a companion to elders my entire life, both in my own family and professionally. I have a special affinity for those with dementia and declining memory.
Loneliness in the elder population is unfortunately very common & it doesn’t have to be this way. Most care homes provide assistance with tasks of daily living, but are simply unable to provide the emotional and spiritual care of companionship that we need most.
As a friendly companion, I have a warm smile and pleasant demeanor; I love to listen or even just “be” with those who maybe don’t receive enough company in their daily lives.
What do I offer?
Regular companion care visits
I can come with activities, accompany those who are able on short or long walks, read books, have lunch (or picnics), assist with gardening, simple cleaning tasks, organizing… really anything to add some brightness and sense of companionship to the life of your loved one.
Sliding Scale Pricing
All visits are 1-hour & in the NW Philadelphia area.
